Dear Parishioner,

As Chairman of the Stewardship Committee, I am writing to ask for your help to accomplish some important work prior to when our new rector arrives.

Typically, the Stewardship Committee (with the guidance of the rector) outlines how the Stewardship Campaign is going to be conducted and how we can best communicate to our parishioners the importance of their participation in all phases of our parish's ministry. In the absence of a rector, I am taking this opportunity to contact you and ask for your stewardship commitment.

St. James is at a point where we need to plan for the upcoming year and develop our budget. This cannot be done without your support. I encourage and challenge you to pray about what St. James means to you and your family, and how you can make a difference for others and yourself.

Please take some time to review the enclosed forms, complete and return them to St. James by Sunday, November 4, 2001.
