Class Schedule 2008 November 2008 October flew by, as we kept busy with getting to know our new students, learning more about the Church Service and the Eucharist, and making “Winner Wands” for the Tricky Tray. They were a huge hit. Thanks to those students who assisted with the wands: John, Gina, Ben, Maddy, Alaina, Bianca, TJ, Emilia, Liana, Katie, Sarah, Matthew, Kate, Alex, and Hayden. Those wands earned $35. toward fundraising for St. James' and as we know, every little bit counts! Next month, Godly Play Lessons will focus on the Eucharist and on 11/16 we will attend the 10 am church service as a group. There will be an instructed Eucharist on that Sunday and this will fit in well with our recent lessons. Please look for us that Sunday in church in the front pews. We will also decorate and fill baskets to be distributed with collected food items by Mission Strategy for Thanksgiving. Thanks for your all of your support and please don't hesitate to contact me. November Schedule: November 2nd Family Sunday November 9th Godly Play Lesson/Decorate Baskets November 16th Instructed Eucharist November 23rd Fill Baskets November 30 th Godly Play Lesson/Advent October 2008 It has been a great start to the Sunday School year thus far, with registrations of 7 new students and reuniting of many returning students. We have been getting to know each other and reviewing some of our Godly Play practices. Thanks to the many parents who sent in snacks and juice for our weekly "feast". During October, we will introduce some new lessons which will focus on the Eucharist.  In addition,  we will be creating "Winner Wands" to sell at the Tricky Tray. September 2008 Sunday School News: Godly Play Lessons will begin on September 14th with Registration on Sunday, the 7th.  Please consider volunteering this year.  It does not require a weekly committment and assistance is always needed.  Children ages 4(Pre-K) up to 5th Grade are welcome in Sunday School which meets the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month.  We will look forward to seeing our returning students and welcoming new ones.
