2008 EAM Car Wash
The St. James' Car Wash to raise funds for our Appalachian work camp trip was a huge success! There were 22 car washers and sign holders on that hot, sunny Saturday -- perfect car wash weather. Thanks to all who brought their dirty cars; they were reminded that "a clean car means a clean soul"! We made $765.15 to fund the EAM trip.Special thanks to: (asterisk indicates a workcamper)Barbara*, Russ*, Diana, Katie*, Drew, Ashliann, Samantha, Maryanne,Elsie, Amecia, Matthew*, Eileen, Greg, Sylvia*, Brittany, Siera, Ellen, Ed, Lindsay, Dave, Richard, Ted, and Cathy*Other pictures to follow.Thank you for your supportLabels: EAM
Welcome to St James
St James Episcopal Church in Hackettstown is opening of a Blog to share information about the various activities are underway.
This is the first message for testing, but will be used to share the activities of our team going to the Episcopal Appalachian Ministries Work Camp. We will make an effort to post pictures as well.
In support of our trip, the fantastic fundraising committee suggested and coordinated a Car Wash to help fund the trip. The group to the left raised $765.15 toward the trip.
A bit thank you to all you helps wash the cars, and ALL who brought your car in to be washed.
Please keep our EAM team in your prayers. Departure will be on Saturday, July 26th, returning Saturday, August 2nd.
Thank you.
