Coffee Hour - After each 10:00 am service on Sunday there is a coffee fellowship in the Parish Hall. Families alternate preparing coffee and cake for all to enjoy during a special time of fellowship. There is also a breakfast held in the Parish Hall once a month between the 8:00 am and 10:00am services.

Christian Education Adult : Liturgy study and seminary on topics of current interest
Youth: St. James' Sunday School currently at 10:00 am has enrolled 65 students. The larger classes are at the primary level.
Traditional activities include a Christmas program, food distribution at holidays, (the children collect nonperishable food items), Valentine's Day visits to local retirement communities, Youth Sunday services and a commencement celebration.
Youth group - meets twice monthly during the 10:00 am service. Topics relevant to youths are discussed. Projects to benefit our youth and community are also done.
Sunday school students earn attendance awards and certificates of promotion at the end of the school year.
St. Fiacre's Guild - Our parish gardeners who maintain our beautiful flower beds.
Outreach Mission Strategy Committee
Provides local food pantries with paper products and personal hygiene products.Well-baby care items.Adoption of families for holiday giving.Emergency aid to families in need.Support and sponsorship of OASIS programOrganizes Harvest Home Sunday
SHARE (Self Help and Resource Exchange) This outreach program is where anyone, regardless of income, may request a package of food once a month in exchange for several hours of proven community service. The package contains shelf items, fresh produce, and meat and has a minimal cost.
ECW (Episcopal Church Women) - Active group with most members from Heath Village (retirement community) who work on a variety of outreach programs.
Hospitality Boar's Head Supper - Traditional English Feast
The St. James' Art Festival - An annual fall event displaying local talent for all in the community to enjoy.
Newcomer's Socials - Welcome socials for all who are new or still feel like a newcomer.
Parish Picnic - Final service before the summer schedule at Stephens' State Park with a picnic following the service.
Music and Theatre Senior Choir - Sing on Sunday at the 10:00 am service.
Junior Choir - Young people grade 2 and up who usually sing during the 10:00 am service on the first Sunday of each month. They also ring hand bells on special occasions.
Music on Moore Street - Informal coffee-house atmosphere entertainment.
St. James' Players - Theatre Group which presents 2-3 productions a year for the enjoyment of parishioners.
CARES - The volunteers in CARES act as a support group for parishioners and their families who are in immediate need. They offer their company, meals, and transportation to people dealing with illness, a death in the family, or who are otherwise housebound. CARES members also participate in a prayer chain to those individuals on the St. James' intercession list.
