HOMECOMING SUNDAY Mark you calendars for September 10th - Homecoming Sunday. We will dedicate the front steps of the church at the 10:00 AM service and there will be a family breakfast between the 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM service.
SR. CHOIR is back in action and looking for more people to come and share the fun! Rehearsals start Thursday, August 31st at 7:30 PM in the church. Rehearsals end at 9:00 PM. Child care may be available. If interested speak to Pam Laura after church, call her at 908.850.8086, or just come to a rehearsal.
EAM You have heard the stories of our latest Appalachian work camp. Our trip costs were $947 and your generous donations received were $730. There is still an opportunity to donate! Mark your envelope or check "EAM". We thank you!
FUNDRAISING If you have not already done so, please submit your commitment for a Tricky Tray basket/tray to Barbara Olesen. Our application, which is due now, requires that we state the number of baskets/trays we will be offering. Have you received a gift you don't really need, or bought something that you never used? The Tricky Tray Committee is looking for donations of new items that you might have taking up space in your home. We can use just about anything!
SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE ends today. Two services resume next Sunday, September 3rd : 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM
SUNDAY SCHOOL St. James' is looking for volunteers to help teach Sunday School. If you are able to give of your time for this very important ministry, please speak with Eileen Malejko or Kathy Lacouture.
NURSERY CARE COORDINATOR! We are still looking for someone to volunteer to coordinate Nursery Care on Sundays. It is not a lot of work and without a coordinator and volunteers we will be unable to continue nursery care on Sundays. This is an important ministry that we would like to continue at St. James'. Please consider volunteering!
SAFETY FIRST Although the front steps of the church are completed, the new railings will not be installed for several more weeks. Please continue to arrive at church by the driveway on Moore Street and enter through the side sacristy door. Your safety is our first concern!
