ANNOUNCEMENTS WELCOME The Rev. Abby Hamilton who is worshipping with us once again this morning. Rev. Hamilton is always a special addition to our worship. SEPTEMBER JOURNAL articles are due to Phyllis Heistand by tomorrow, Monday, August 27. Please email your articles to Phyllis at pdheistand@comcast.net . MISSION STRATEGY MEETING on Tuesday, August 28 th at 7:00 PM in the Chapel. Anyone interested in this outreach committee is welcome to attend. YOUTH GROUP NEWS Youth Group will start meeting again on September 9 th . We will discuss plans and activities for the coming year. All youth grades 6-12 are welcome. Classes are discussion based with a focus on Christian and biblical values. We meet on the 2 nd and 4 th Sunday of each month (except holidays) during the 10 o'clock service. Questions or comments: see Dawn Modugno or Lori Pursel. KEEPING COOL During these summer months, bottled water will be available in the Narthex and Chapel. For our senior citizens and adults who find it difficult to cope with the heat during the summer months, there are a limited number of paper fans available. Please ask the usher for a fan. OFFICE HOURS We will return to regular office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM the week of September 10 th . Next Sunday, September 2nd , we will be returning to two services FUNDRAISING ALUMINUM CAN FUNDRAISER aluminum cans are being collected.
