ANNOUNCEMENTS

HOLY BAPTISM We welcome Briana Elise Corry, daughter or Angie & Adam Corry; and Courtney Marisa Keane, daughter of Nicole & Brian Keane, into the household of God in Holy Baptism.

EAM You have heard the stories of our latest Appalachian work camp. Our trip costs were $947 and your generous donations received were $650. There is still an opportunity to donate! Mark your envelop or check "EAM". We thank you!

FUNDRAISING If you have not already done so, please submit your commitment for a Tricky Tray basket/tray to Barbara Olesen. Our application, which is due now, requires the number of baskets/trays we will be offering. Have you received a gift you don't really need, or bought something that you never used? The Tricky Tray Committee is looking for donations of new items that you might have taking up space in your home. We can use just about anything!

SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE continues with one service only at 9:00 AM. Two services resume September 3rd .

SUNDAY SCHOOL St. James' is looking for volunteers to help teach Sunday School. If you are able to give of your time for this very important ministry, please speak with Eileen Malejko or Kathy Lacouture.

NURSERY CARE COORDINATOR! Do you have small children? Do you remember when your children were small? We are looking for someone to coordinate nursery care for St. James' and individuals to volunteer one Sunday a month to assist with nursery care. If you are interested, or have any questions, please speak with the Rector, or call the church office (908.852.3968).

KEEP THE BELLS RINGING! Our bell choir provides us with beautiful music. Our bells, acquired used in 1983, are in need of refurbishing at a cost of $1875 (a new set costs $5025!) The vestry has committed the funds for this project from our Capital Improvement Fund, but decided to ask for special donations for this cause, and were started off with a generous $1,000 contribution. To date, $1,395. has been raised. If you wish to join in this effort, mark your donation "bells." Louise Olshan, director of the bell choir, and all the members thank you!

SAFETY FIRST Although the front steps of the church are completed, the new railings will not be installed for several more weeks. Please continue to arrive at church by the driveway on Moore Street and enter through the side sacristy door. Your safety is our first concern!
