ANNOUNCEMENTS

SUMMER FLOWERS During the summer months, members are invited to bring a bouquet of flowers from their garden for display at the baptismal font. There is a sign-up sheet posted on the sacristy door. Glass vases are available on the back porch of the Mitcham House.

SUMMER COFFEE HOUR Please sign-up to make coffee and set out lemonade and cookies after our 9:00 AM service. Weather permitting, we will enjoy our refreshments on the front lawn of the Mitcham House porch! See Ellen Infante for details!

SUMMER STEWARDSHIP As a reminder during the summer months, you may prepay your pledge for the time you are away on vacation. You may mail a check to the church office prior to leaving or while you are away. Thank you for your attention to your pledge.

CHURCH OFFICE will be closed from June 30th to July 15th. Linda Murray will be on vacation. The office messages will be checked periodically. If you need immediate attention, please call the Rector's office at 908-850-4549.

EPISCOPAL APPALACHIAN MINISTRIES (EAM) Our fifth trip to repair and renovate homes in Appalachia is July 29 - August 5. Each worker pays his or her own room and board expenses ($175. for the week) and St. James' supports the trip by funding travel expenses to Grace House on the
Mountain. If you wish to make a special contribution for this trip, please use the special envelope provided in the church.

SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE with one service only at 9:00 AM. Please mark this on your calendars!

SAFETY FIRST Although the front steps of the church are completed, the new railings will not be installed for several more weeks. Please continue to arrive at church by the driveway on Moore Street and enter through the side sacristy door. Your safety is our first concern! We anticipate that the new railings will be installed by mid-July.

NURSERY CARE COORDINATOR St. James' is looking for an individual to coordinate nursery care starting in September. If you are interested, or have any questions about what is involved, please speak with Cheryl Crisp, Cathy Deats or call the office.

RECYCLING We are collecting cell phones only (not the chargers, cases, etc) and computer printer cartridges (please no cartridges for copiers) for recycling. In addition, you can shop on-line with many fine retailers and raise funds for St. James'. Speak with Linda Miller if you have any questions, and go to igive.com for details.
