ANNOUNCEMENTS

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL FOOD PANTRY In June we will be collecting pasta products for Trinity's Food Pantry. There will be a collection container in the Narthex.

KITCHEN COMMITTEE will meet on Thursday, June 11th at 7:30 PM in the Mitcham House.

OFFERING ENVELOPES: Just a reminder that White Envelopes received are deposited in the General Fund. Blue Envelopes are deposited into the Capital Improvement fund which is used for repairs and improvements for the Church and Mitcham House. The Building Fund (Capital Campaign) donations go to the completion of the building project and towards paying the mortgage on our new building. Capital Improvement and Building Fund are two separate funds.

FUNDRAISING

PENS FOR SALE Fundraising committee still has St. James' pens for sale for $3 each. See Barbara White if you would like to purchase one (or maybe more!)

COLD STONE CREAMERY is offering 10% off your purchases back to St. James', so remember ‘LIFE IS SHORT, EAT DESSERT FIRST”. Be sure to remember to take a bulletin with you.

ITALIAN NIGHT DINNER on June 13th . We will hold our first fundraising dinner in our new space. Hours will be from 5pm - 8pm and the cost is $11.00 for adults and $10.00 for seniors and children. If you plan to attend please sign up in parish hall. There is also a sign up sheet for volunteers, if you would like to help out with setting up, or serving, or cleaning up. Bring a friend!

SPIRIT OF AMERICANA CELEBRATION July 4 at Footbridge Park in Blairstown. We are looking for volunteers to help out selling ice cream and lemonade at St. James' stand. Please speak with Barbara White if you are interested in helping.

GOLF OUTING on September 21, 2009, in celebration of our 150th Anniversary, we are having a golf tournament. Keep your eyes and ears open for all the details. This will be a great event for everyone from the semi pros to those who have never held a golf club. It will be amazing opportunity for us to spotlight St. James' and all we do in our community. Volunteers are needed to help coordinate and plan. If you are interested, please contact Bill or Meg Critchley.
