ANNOUNCEMENTS PARISH LIFE COMMITTEE will meet on Wednesday, May 21st at 7:30 pm in the Church or Mitcham House (look for sign posted). Parish Life Committee coordinates schedules of the various parish groups and consults on liturgy. All are welcome to attend this meeting! HONORING OUR GRADUATES Please contact the church office if there is a graduate in your family (8 th grade, High School, College, Professional, etc). SPIRITUAL SCRAPBOOKING course will be held on Monday, May 19th at 12:00 noon at Christ Church, Budd Lake. Lunch will be provided. An overview of scrapbooking will be given by Sharon Sheridan which may give us ideas on how to record events like St. James' building project and our 150 th Anniversary. Please reserve your spot by calling or emailing the Church Office at stjames214@comcast.net or 908.852.3968. EPISCOPAL APPALACHIAN MINISTRIES (EAM) St. James' will have six slots for the work camp to the held July 26 - August 2. It is not too early to plan your summer and reserve your space. Please contact the Rector at cathydeats@comcast.net or 908.850.4549. Application is available on St. James' website. FUNDRAISING COKE CAPS AND END FLAPS Please remember that we are saving the caps and fridge pack end flaps from all Coke products. We are able to turn these codes into Merchandise for our October Fundraising event. Thanks for your support. LONGABERGER BASKET SALE May 25th & June 1st - Roberta Brandt will have Longaberger products on display at church. Please stop by, pick up a catalog and talk to Roberta. Roberta donates her commission from these sales to St. James' each year. DINNER AT IHOP Thursday, May 29th from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. IHOP donates 20% of your food check to St. James' Fundraising Committee when you hand in the "IHOP Family Night Supporter Form". See Barbara White for forms. BAKE SALE Saturday, May 31st . Bakers are needed! Questions: speak with Barbara White. Please note change of date! SPAGHETTI DINNER Saturday, June 7th we will host another Italian Night dinner at Christ Church in Budd Lake. Serving will begin at 5 pm and end around 7:30 PM. Please put this on your calendar and plan to attend. Tickets will be sold in advance and at the door. Adults $12.00 and Seniors/Children $10. Please see Barbara White for more details. BASKET DONATIONS The Fundraising Committee is looking for empty baskets to use for our October Fundraiser. If you have any new or gently used baskets that we can use to create a Tricky Tray Basket, please bring to church or contact Barbara Olesen @ 908.850.5645.
