ANNOUNCEMENTS WELCOME Please welcome Helen Claire LaForge , daughter of Fred and Alicia LaForge into the St. James' family! She was born March 27th and will be baptized June 29th. CHILDREN'S SABBATH today at 10:00 AM. The Sunday School students will assist with the planning, and take a more active role, in the 10 am service. We thank them for their gifts! FLOWER SPONSORS is needed for August 31 st . If you are interested in sponsoring the flowers one of these Sundays, please call Linda in the church office at 908.852.3968. PARISH LIFE COMMITTEE will meet on Wednesday, May 21 st at 7:30 pm in the Mitcham House. Parish Life Committee coordinates schedules of the various parish groups and consults on liturgy. All are welcome to attend this meeting! SPIRITUAL SCRAPBOOKING course will be held on Monday, May 19 th at 12:00 noon at Christ Church, Budd Lake. Lunch will be provided. An overview of scrapbooking will be given by Sharon Sheridan which may give us ideas on how to record events like St. James' building project and our 150 th Anniversary. PASTORAL CARE Anyone who is now involved in pastoral care (or would like to be) is invited to attend a FREE 6-week pastoral skills workshop through Easton Hospital. It offers many tips such as Dos and Don'ts of visiting parents and how to work with people who are grieving. It begins Monday, May 12 th , from 5:15 to 8:15 pm. If you are interested, please contact the Pastoral Care Department at Easton Hospital at 610.250.4027. Registration is required and enrollment is limited. HONORING OUR GRADUATES Please contact the church office if there is a graduate in your family (8 th grade, High School, College, Professional, etc). EPISCOPAL APPALACHIAN MINISTRIES (EAM) St. James' will have six slots for the work camp to the held July 26 - August 2. It is not too early to plan your summer and reserve your space. Please contact the Rector at cathydeats@comast.net or 908.850.4549. FUNDRAISING COKE CAPS AND END FLAPS Please remember that we are saving the caps and fridge pack end flaps from all Coke products.
