ST. JAMES' 30 HOUR FAMINE for hunger relief (sponsored by World Vision) raised a total of $1282!!! Thank you for supporting our young people who participated. We have received word from World Vision that our contributions has been DOUBLED by special grants!! St. James' will save the lives of SEVEN children this year. EASTER BASKETS Once again this year, St. James' will be providing food baskets to needy families in our community. Non-perishable food donations should be received no later than April 9 th . Donations can be dropped off in the Parish Hall on Sunday mornings, or in the church office Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 12:00 PM Questions: speak with Jerry Sheard. EASTER FLOWER OFFERING ENVELOPES are available in the back of the church. Envelopes may be placed in the offering plate, or mailed to the office. All envelopes must be received no later than Sunday, April 9 th . DISTRICT ONE LENTEN STUDY at Christ Church, Budd Lake, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM. We are studying "Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. Wednesdays thru to April 5 th . LENT (and beyond) BIBLE STUDY Join us a we "break open the word" every Monday evening, 7 PM in the Mitcham House. We study the lessons for the upcoming Sunday. FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE is selling Dominos Pizza Cards for $10. You can enjoy some pizza and support St. James' at the same time. Please speak with Barbara White or Tom Kimpland. St. James' Fundraising Committee has a very aggressive fundraising goal for 2006. See the enclosed flyer for details! CONGRATULATIONS It is with great gladness that we announce that The Rev. (Deacon) Lorraine Dughi will be ordained into the Sacred Order of Priests on Saturday, March 25 th , at 10 am at St. Peter's Church in Clifton. We will present Lorraine with a gift. If you wish to make a donation to this gift, please mark your donation to "Rector's Discretionary Fund - Dughi gift" FLOWER DONORS are still needed for August 20 & 27 and Sept. 24 th .
