ANNOUNCEMENTS EASTER FOOD BASKETS Once again St. James' will be collecting food donations for Easter Baskets for needy families in our community. All donations are due no later than March 16th . A list of suggested donations is available in the Narthex. Questions: please speak with Candy Brewster LENTEN BIBLE STUDY Wednesdays during Lent in the Mitcham House from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The study will be the reading of the Lectionary for the next Sunday. Any questions, contact Russ Worthington. MAUNDY THURSDAY NIGHTWATCH in the Chapel beginning after the service on Maundy Thursday and ending at noon on Good Friday. Please sign-up in the Narthex. EASTER FLOWER OFFERING ENVELOPES are available in the back of the church. All envelopes are due to the Church Office no later than March 16th . PALM SUNDAY March 16th the Passion of Lord Jesus Christ will be read during both the 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM services. Volunteers are needed to read the passion. Please speak with Russ Worthington or Cathy Deats if you are interested in reading on Palm Sunday. LAY PASTORAL CARE We are looking to improve the coordination between our Lay Pastoral Visitors, CARES, Eucharistic Ministers and Prayer Ministry. If you are interested in the ministry of pastoral care, we will meet on Sunday, March 9th after the 10 AM service to share ideas. MAINTENANCE MORNING /Saturday/March 15th / 9:00 AM - Noon. We will be removing the choir loft carpeting in preparation for new carpets. Please consider volunteering this morning! HOLY WEEK SERVICES Lay ministry volunteers are needed for Holy Week Services. Please call the office to volunteer. FUNDRAISING ST. PATRICK'S DAY FEAST Saturday, March 15th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Christ Church in Budd Lake. $12/Adults and $10. for Seniors and Children. Please see flyer in Chapel for details. Questions, or to purchase tickets, please speak with Barbara White. TOWN WIDE YARD SALE Spring Cleaning?? St. James' will participate in the Hackettstown Townwide YARD SALE which will be held on April 12th . Please remember this date and plan to donate your slightly used items to support St. James' We do not have storage space and can not accept items until the week before the sale. Books, computer, computer components and electronics will not be accepted. Please invite your friends and neighbors to participate. If necessary, we can arrange for picking up large items. You can contact Barbara White @barbarawhite_7msn.com for pick ups. SEE'S CANDY is being ordered for Easter. Orders can be found in the Chapel, or ask any one of the Fundraising Committee. Orders are due by March 9th .
