LENTEN BIBLE STUDY Wednesdays during Lent in the Mitcham House from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The study will be the reading of the Lectionary for the next Sunday. Any questions, contact Russ Worthington.
CONFIRMATION CLASS is forming. Those who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, be received into the Episcopal faith, or reaffirm their baptismal vows should contact the church office immediately. Please make plans to be at the opening informational session on February 21st at 7:00 PM in the Chapel.
SR. CHOIR For the months of January and February, Sr. Choir rehearsal is changing from Thursday night to Wednesday night 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the church. Choir rehearsal will return to Thursday nights beginning February 28th .
LENTEN QUIET MORNING Saturday, March 1st with Jim Warnke from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm in the Church. A simple lunch will be served. Please notify the church office of your attendance so we may plan our meal.
EASTER FLOWER OFFERING ENVELOPES are available in the back of the church. Envelopes may be placed in the offering plate, or mailed to the office. All envelopes must be received no later than Sunday, March 16th.
PALM SUNDAY March 16th the Passion of Lord Jesus Christ will be read during both the 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM services. Volunteers are needed to read the passion. Please speak with Russ Worthington or Cathy Deats if you are interested in reading on Palm Sunday.
COFFEE HOUR VOLUNTEERS are needed for March and April. Please sign up in the chapel. Questions: speak with Russ Worthington.
2008 PLEDGE ENVELOPES for those who have requested them, are available in the Narthex. Please pick up your envelopes! Any questions, please call Linda in the church office (852.3968).
HOLY WEEK SERVICES Lay ministry volunteers are needed for Holy Week: Maundy Thursday, Good Friday Ecumenical Service, Good Friday Stations of the Cross and Easter Vigil. Please call the office to volunteer.
FUNDRAISING
COKE CAPS AND END FLAPS/ALSO PEPSI PRODUCTS Please remember that we are saving the caps and fridge pack end flaps from all Coke products. We are able to turn these codes into Merchandise for our October Fundraising event. Thanks for your support. Pepsi is now offering products, so we are collecting caps and end flaps from Pepsi.
ALUMINUM CAN FUNDRAISER aluminum cans are being collected. Cans should be crushed and deposited in the trash can on the side of the Mitcham House.
