ANNOUNCEMENTS LENTEN BIBLE STUDY beginning Wednesday, February 13 th and running throughout Lent in the Mitcham House from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The study will be the reading of the Lectionary for the next Sunday. Any questions, contact Russ Worthington. PAJAMA DRIVE is being held between now and Valentine's Day for needy children and adults in New Jersey. Please see flyer in Chapel. There is a blue container in the Narthex where you can leave your donations. Questions: Speak with Candy Brewster. A NOTE FROM ABBY HAMIILTON our celebrant and preacher last Sunday, February 3 rd . "With my deepest sympathy to the two Patriot's fans in the choir, I need to enforce what I tried to say last Sunday. The "lesson" from Super Bowl XLII is, once again, stay focused on the goal, work your best knowing that you are always part of a team, don't allow yourself to be intimidated by anyone else or anything anyone else has to say, and ....the "unbeatable" can be beaten. You go, folks! With much affection, Abby Hamilton." CONFIRMATION CLASS is forming. Those who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, be received into the Episcopal faith, or reaffirm their baptismal vows should contact the church office immediately. Please make plans to be at the opening informational session on February 21 st at 7:00 PM in the Chapel. SR. CHOIR For the months of January and February, Sr. Choir rehearsal is changing from Thursday night to Wednesday night 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the church. Choir rehearsal will return to Thursday nights beginning February 28 th . 2008 PLEDGE ENVELOPES for those who have requested them, are available in the Narthex. Please pick up your envelopes! Any questions, please call Linda in the church office (852.3968). FUNDRAISING SHROVE TUESDAY AT IHOP: Thanks to everyone that came out for dinner Tuesday. It was a huge success and a good start to the fundraising year. We hope everyone enjoyed the food and fellowship. We especially thank you for inviting your friends and families. We should do this again, maybe we can make it a monthly outing! Thank you! COKE CAPS AND END FLAPS/ALSO PEPSI PRODUCTS Please remember that we are saving the caps and fridge pack end flaps from all Coke products. We are able to turn these codes into Merchandise for our October Fundraising event. Thanks for your support. Pepsi is now offering products, so we are collecting caps and end flaps from Pepsi. ALUMINUM CAN FUNDRAISER aluminum cans are being collected. Cans should be crushed and deposited in the trash can on the side of the Mitcham House.
